A Journey to Germany: Graduation, Community and Connection

As November begins, I wanted to look back on a special October and share a little of what has been happening behind the scenes at The Tycho Retreat. Last month included a trip to Rosenheim in Germany—a chance to celebrate completing my training, spend time in community and continue learning. 🌙

A graduation with a wider meaning

Having completed my Medicine Wheel and Master Energy Medicine training with The Four Winds, travelling to Germany was an opportunity to pause and acknowledge that journey.

What had originally been described as a graduation became a community celebration, bringing together people who had completed their training since Covid. On the Friday, we gathered to honour those achievements together.

I rather love that it became a community celebration. Although each of us had followed our own path through the training, there was space to recognise the learning, practice and personal growth we shared.

So much happens before a qualification is complete: studying, case studies, questioning, practising and making room for your own learning along the way. This was a moment to stop, take a breath and say, “Yes, I have actually done this!”

Continuing to learn

The weekend also brought the opportunity to be with Alberto Villoldo and Marcela Lobos, with Saturday and Sunday dedicated to Munay-Ki workshops.

Continuing this work matters to me. Becoming a Master Energy Medicine Practitioner marks a meaningful milestone, but my curiosity and learning carry on. There is always something to revisit, reflect on or understand more deeply.

The Munay-Ki weekend was also an opportunity to deepen the wisdom and practice I carry into my work as a Munay-Ki practitioner here at The Tycho Retreat.

Bringing it home to The Tycho Retreat

Behind every course and qualification is something very simple: my wish to offer a thoughtful, compassionate space where people can feel heard and supported.

My training informs that space, but so does being human—knowing that life can feel messy, that change takes time and that we do not always arrive knowing exactly what we need.

You do not need to understand shamanic practices or have particular spiritual beliefs to be curious about this work. There is room to ask questions, explore and move at your own pace.

Looking back on October, I am making space to acknowledge this milestone, alongside all the everyday moments that keep The Tycho Retreat growing.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, trusted me with a part of their journey or simply been here, reading and connecting. It feels lovely to share this chapter with you.

In Munay,
Toni
